Pray the Daily Family Rosary

McDonnell Family & Fr Jim at prayer

Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa

STEP 1: Dad,  as the spiritual leader of the family, invites all the children just before they go to bed, to come to the living room to join Mom and Dad in praying the family rosary.

STEP 2: Dad asks little "Little Johnny" what his intentions are for the rosary. Then, in turn, Dad asks each of all the other members of the family what their intentions are.

STEP 3: Dad agrees with everyone's intentions and shares his own intentions.

STEP 4: Dad asks the youngest member of the family to lead the first decade.

STEP 5: Dad, in turn, asks each of the other members of the family to lead a decade.

STEP 6: At the end of the rosary, Mom chooses the Marian hymn to be sung by all the family.

STEP 7: All the children kiss Mom and Dad goodnight, and go happily to bed.
